for the birds!

we went to a little neighborhood festival this weekend and they had a "Make Your Own Bird Feeder" station. There was a really big jar of peanut butter there, so I had to check it out. This is what we left with...

a bagel covered in peanut butter and then dipped in different bird-friendly edibles. it's hanging in our back yard... at least it was before the storm tonight :/

post-wedding I can make and eat fun stuff again cheesecake...

I usually buy an ice cream cake for my David when it's his birthday, but this year I decided to save my money and make ice cream cupcakes instead.  Very easy.  Very delicious.

still working on this whole sugar addiction... it's a hard habit to break.
