Why is spandex so much effort?

I was asked to dress retro at the gym the other day to launch new releases of some of our programs and came to really appreciate the work all those 70's and 80's fitness ladies put into getting dressed to workout! Whew... I thought sitting down to put my sneakers on was bad...

It takes a lot of effort to look this good...

ok so, Valentine's Day came and went. It was a mediocre day I guess... I didn't get to take a good long nap like I had hoped for but I did get a chance to go to Whole Foods and spend a ton of money on ingredients for my all natural, white flour-free, vegetarian pizza!!!....

David seemed to like it... and my camera died right after my delectable pizza picture! So this is my delicious memory of V-day! That and David's leftover garlic breath... mmmmm!!

So I can't stop knitting scarves. I think it may be time for me to move on to something a little more advanced but I can whip them up so quickly and then take a headless pic of myself and sell them on etsy... why would I stop??

today I'm cleaning... hopefully it's ok to pour bleach directly onto your counter and sink because I just did! I usually like to use more gentle and natural products but they just don't do it like the bleach does...

anyway, I guess my cats got inspired to clean each other, too...

Lent in my belly!!

So today is Ash Wednesday... the first day of Lent. I finally decided after much debate with myself to give up sweets and white flour. So we'll see how it goes. Last night I felt like I needed to be fat for Fat Tuesday... but I didn't know what to do so I went to Whole Foods and bought some naan, 2 peanut butter cookies, and a dark chocolate and almond candy bar (which was expensive and so delectable!)

David wanted me to get him a chocolate chip cookie so on my way home I ate one of my peanut butter cookies... so the boys (aka David and his roommate John) wouldn't know how fat I was actually being on the fattest day of the year...

aren't they clueless and adorable???

Ok I'm ready to not eat sweets and white flour until Easter! I'm feeling so phat!
