the sister-in-law asked if I would make belts for the girls' Easter dresses.  I waited around til the last minute, but I got them done.

no sew... just hot glue and fabric.

And my sister-in-law did a great job making the rest of the dress... she should blog about these things.

egg bread vs. mixer

my beloved mixer...

kneaded my egg bread dough for about 5 or 6 minutes and threw in the towel

started smoking and emitting a terrible smell

I'll be calling Kitchenaid tomorrow :(

tonight, my friends and I dyed eggs for Easter. I found a technique using electrical tape to make a cool design on the egg. Here's what I ended up with...

Easter came and went and I never blogged about it... so here is my belated easter blog...

David, John, Ashlee Jean, and I decided to dye some eggs... so that's eggsactly what we did!!

first, I boiled some eggs.

then, john and I ate carrots.


oh yeah, I also made a carrot cake... it smelled so good!
