Easter came and went and I never blogged about it... so here is my belated easter blog...

David, John, Ashlee Jean, and I decided to dye some eggs... so that's eggsactly what we did!!

first, I boiled some eggs.

then, john and I ate carrots.


oh yeah, I also made a carrot cake... it smelled so good!

what not to crochet...

My sister-in-law sent me this blog the other day... what not to crochet

If you don't check it out, it doesn't hurt my feelings. But how could they tell us not to crochet pasties???? Especially when I'm pretty sure there's some pubic hair creeping up above those bottoms!

Kinda makes me want to try this project and hit up my local strip club!! Happy crocheting!

my lips feel good.

my latest passion... lip balm. I can't stop making it. I made more last night so I figured I would show and tell. So far I made a natural one with a slight fruity flare to it, banana, watermelon, and last night was a tangerine night. So here's how it went...

why does it always snow in march or april in alabama? just when things are wrapping up and we're just getting ready to warm up for spring... the weather decides to give us the gift of snow... so on my way to a yoga workshop, I stopped and took a picture of my cold, sockless feet in the march snow...

I think I may have an addiction to taking pictures of my feet!

who stepped on my toes?

After having an oh-so-girly night last night talking about only the things girls talk about when we get together, I decided to make my toes look like they were slammed under a post office door by painting them black! It's been probably about 6 or 7 years since I've done the black toenails thing (when I thought I looked so rebellious in college). I figured it was time to bring back my rebellious youth...

so I was getting in my car the other day after a little trip to Target to buy some baby gifts and as I was leaving, a random guy drove up and said, "excuse me, ma'am? My wife has my debit card and I'm out of gas. Can you spare some cash?" Well, I hate it when people call me ma'am. It's like I'm an old grandma or something. And I never give beggars cash... call me heartless if you must, but I think they are almost always con artists. So I said, "Sorry I don't have any cash but good luck." So the guy kinda grumbled about his wife or something and drove off. I didn't think anything of it until yesterday when I was at Whole Foods (because I like to eat healthy and spend a ton of money doing it apparently) and the SAME GUY came up to me and asked the same thing. Although I think he recognized me because it was much shorter and to the point this time and I think when he saw my face he knew I was on to him. Anyway, I'm so dumb because I should have called him out on it but I didn't. Arrgh! Why didn't I? I don't know. That would have been cool.

Oh well. I decided to blog about it instead. And since I always post a pic with my blogs and I didn't have my camera with me when I was propositioned either time, I decided to post a pic of this guy instead...
